From Litson Manok to BBQ Sticks: Andok’s Continues to Evolve With New Dokitori

Manila, Philippines — From family gatherings centered on Litson Manok to quick meals between busy schedules, Andok’s has long been part of how Filipinos enjoy familiar comfort food. Now, the homegrown food chain is bringing its signature charcoal-grilled flavors into a new format with Dokitori, its latest Super Chicken BBQ Stick.

The new offering gives Andok’s barbecue lineup a chicken option alongside Pork Kasim and Liempo BBQ. At 80 grams per stick and priced at ₱65, Dokitori is designed for individual dining, giving customers a convenient way to enjoy Filipino-style chicken barbecue whether they are eating at the store or taking their meal on the go.

A boxed rice meal option is also available for diners looking for a more complete serving.

“Filipinos are always looking for quick, affordable meals that fit their daily rush,” said Maverick Leonardo Javier, President of Andok’s Litson Corporation. “Together with my parents, ama ng Pambansang Litson Manok Vice Governor Sandy Javier and Congresswoman Karen Javier, we created Dokitori not just to expand our barbecue line, but to provide our customers with more options to conveniently enjoy our signature charcoal-grilled taste—whether as a sit-down meal or on-the-go.”

Dokitori stays close to the flavors Filipinos know and love. The chicken is prepared with a rich, smoky marinade and complemented by a savory-sweet glaze, with lightly caramelized edges adding a familiar barbecue finish.

The launch reflects a broader shift in how Filipinos eat. While shared meals and family-style dining remain an important part of local food culture, busy lifestyles have also created demand for affordable, individual servings that can be enjoyed quickly. Dokitori responds to that shift without moving away from the flavors that have helped define Andok’s for decades.

Since opening its doors in 1985, Andok’s has grown from its iconic Litson Manok offering into a food chain with more than 300 outlets nationwide. Its expanding menu now includes a variety of formats beyond whole-chicken takeaway, including Dokibab, a savory chicken kebab; Shrimpura, a crispy seafood offering; and Chicken Alá Bone, a boneless charcoal-grilled favorite.

This evolution is part of Andok’s continued effort to meet everyday cravings while strengthening its presence in the local market. The brand is also looking beyond the Philippines, building on the initial success of its international expansion in Singapore.

To celebrate Dokitori’s nationwide rollout, Andok’s will hold a one-day Buy 1, Take 1 promotion on August 15, 2026. The offer will be available in stores as well as through GrabFood, foodpanda and andoksdelivery.com.ph.
